General

Answer: Please see the directions below, please note you must be an existing customer to set this up.

Answer: Our rental payment system uses automated token payment, not Direct Debit  This means:
  • We can except either debit or credit card to take your monthly payment
  • For payment to be set up we need your 16-digit card number and expiry date
  • Once this is set up, payments can be taken monthly automatically with a receipt sent via email
  • If your credit or debit card expires or is cancelled, you will be required to supply us with your new details
NB: Payment is strictly via credit or debit card.  However, if you require a pro forma invoice to settle a payment with your Company's Accounts Department there is a minimum term of 6 months.
Answer: Option 1 (available at Horsham & Molesey): In-shop purchase, subject to opening hours. Option 2 Collection point padlocks (all sites):  Once you have purchased a padlock over the phone you will receive a text message with the Collection Box number and the Collection Box code.  
Answer: If you have lost the key to your padlock it is essential you call us to advise us of the situation.  It may be possible for us to remove the padlock for you depending on staff availability.  If you need the padlock removed urgently, we recommend booking a local locksmith to remove this for you. NB It is very important you liaise with our team before the locksmith starts work to avoid any complications or security breaches.

If you require a new padlock we offer padlocks designed for the container unit at all our facilities

Answer: Parking is permitted whilst attending the storage Units to load or unload.   NB We do not allow overnight parking at any of our Standby sites.  A charge will be made for any authorised parking of vehicles overnight as per our terms and conditions
The Customer can give their friend, colleague or subcontractor access to their unit via their code with keys to their Unit; however it is at the customer’s own risk and we will not be held responsible for any problems arising from this arrangement.
  • On request we can change your access code should you feel this necessary
  • We can list your representatives on your account
  • Please inform us If you are booking a courier or removal company to deliver or collect your goods
Our minimum rental period is 1 month but you are welcome to store with us for as long as you need to.  We do accept payment of up to 1 year upfront with discounts offered, subject to our terms and conditions.
No, but we can provide you with contacts depending on how much needs moving and how far it needs to be taken.

Insurance

In self storage contents insurance is always different for each customer or unit, this is why a member of our team will always ask you there value of the goods you intend to put in storage when quoting. This is due to variation in the value of the goods being stored. N.B Its always important to also remember that our policy is new for old not indemnity . This means you need to base your valuation on what it would cost to replace the goods with new items.  
Answer: Our Terms and Conditions specify, the named customer must have ownership of the good/contents of the storage unit. You can allow a person(s) permission to access your unit on your behalf however, please bear in mind that you, as the customer, are responsible for who you give your access code to.
Answer: All our container units are specced for self storage use, have ventilation and are sealed wind and watertight. It is important to remember, if someone brings wet items into the unit there will be condensation issues as this water will be trapped inside, as would occur with any self storage unit in an industrial building.
  • We are members of and follow the container self storage and traders association's guidance.
  • Shipping containers are great for storage providing they are looked after and ventilated correctly.  A very large amount of modern day consumables spend months in shipping containers in all weather conditions at sea, before they reach the UK market eg. televisions, iPhones, furniture and thousands of other products.
All we ask is you ensure all your items are dry before going into storage. e.g fridges/ freezers/ washing machines, any business equipment etc.  We will do the rest!

Size Guide

Answer: No problem, you can transfer to a different sized unit at any time, providing the size you need is available.
  • If you need to transfer to another unit size, this will need to be arranged by a member of our team on 0808 501 6316 for assistances.

Answer: Our rental agreement / terms and conditions are signed using an e-sign document. Once the move-in has been processed either online, by phone or on site, you will receive an email with your unit details and a link to the e-sign document. You can use this to review the terms and sign the agreement at the bottom of the document.  Once this has been done, click finish.  Upon completion, the document will be automatically sent back to us and you will be permitted access to our facility. You can review our terms and conditions and insurance policy online.

You can allow a person(s) permission to access your unit on your behalf however, please bear in mind that you, as the customer, are responsible for who you give your access code to.
We don't require notice, simply cancel your subscription and empty your unit before the next billing period. Once the unit is clean, clear & the padlock removed, we require a photos of the inside of the unit and outside with the padlock removed & sent to us via email.  If this is not possible, please call us on 0808 501 6316 to confirm the unit is empty.
